Videography

• $80 per hour.
• $34.95* per (recorded) VHS tape.
• $24.95* per tape if 5 or more (identical) VHS tapes.
• $19.95* per tape if 10 or more (identical) VHS tapes.
• $50 per (recorded) S-VHS tape.
• $60 per (recorded) Mini-DV tape.

*Tapes not produced in association with a particular filming/editing job are $5 more.

Clean crisp digital video from 3CCD professional video equipment. We can also provide specific effects for one-off shots, such as timelapse shots. Timelapse shots including pans are also possible.

Microphones are available to suit a variety of situations, including seminars, "live reporting" etc. Just let us know what you have in mind.

Video Editing

• $80 per hour of editing time.
• $60 for delivery on Mini-DV tape (per hour).

Clean crisp digital video throughout the editing. We can provide all the standard features that you'd expect, and more.

• Digital wipes and mixes.
• Digital effects such as artificial colouring, olden-day movies (sepia tone), etc.
• Picture within picture.
• Titles:
  • Scrolling (eg, end credits).
  • Fading in and out.
  • Subtitles.

Material from your own video tapes or computer movie clips can be included. Video tapes we accept include Mini-DV, S-VHS, and VHS. Other formats will require third-party conversion, which we can arrange for.

Any movies supplied or edited by us can also be compressed for the web or cellphones in various formats including the latest MPEG4 video standard.

Our preferred delivery format is DVD, which can be produced from any supplied or edited footage. Menus allow multiple videos or slideshows to be put on a single DVD. For more information see the DVD page.
